Jammin' For Jesus Music Ministry

Carolina Opry star, Louie Roberts, has a list of accomplishments which are as astoundingly diverse as they are impressive.  He brings to each performance a rich heritage spanning generations and covering a variety of musical styles.

With an extensive background of 31 years, Louie Roberts' musical credits are:  Network Television Shows, Nashville Syndicated Television Shows, Recordings and variety shows.  In 1989, Louie joined the fabulous Calvin Gilmore Productions in Myrtle Beach, SC, performing in the "Dixie Jubilee" and later "The Carolina Opry".  Louie continues to excite audiences as he performs in song, emcee and entertainer in over 310 shows a year.

Louie Roberts is also excited about Jesus Christ and what he did in his life over 22 years ago, May 1982.  That very excitement has made Louie a radiant Christian who has committed his life to a daily walk with Christ and is committed to share his faith with others.

In 1999, God began a new work in the life of Louie Roberts.  During a stressful time of physical illness requiring a 2 month recovery period, Louie rededicated his life to Jesus Christ and placed himself upon the Master's potters wheel, yielding his life to God's perfect plan and purpose.  The potter's wheel yielded a new work for Louie, fashioned by God's own hands.  This new plan and purpose birthed into Louie Roberts' mind and heart, "Jammin' For Jesus".  A plan that gave Louie a new opportunity to serve and share his gift of music with others.

In 2000, Louie began a guitar music ministry that has now grown from a few students to over 50 students a week.

In March 2001, "Jammin' For Jesus" became an effective tool of evangelism, with himself, his family and students, this ministry has made a statement and impact within the churches where they have ministered.

"Jammin' For Jesus involves children, teenagers and adults all involved in sharing the "Good News of Jesus Christ" in praise, song and testimony.  "Jammin' For Jesus" includes genre of music styles from the new Christian contemporary music to the classic hymns.  There is something for everyone!  Louie also shares his own personal tertimony giving God the glory for his salvation, his new start, healing and the new ministry.

Louie Roberts' dream is to see more children and youth involved in Christian music sharing their talents and gifts while encouraging their peers to be involved.
